Mr. T Commercial

So for those of you haven't heard the latest media buzz the gay rights groups are trying to stir up. For anyone who has seen the ad, I have it on the bottom, so you can view it there. Anyway, the ad features Kirby Heyborne as a speedwalker, Mr. T drives up in a big beefy truck and starts pelting him with snickers bars because speed-walking is a sissy sport. The gay rights groups are all in a tizzy because they claim that Kirby Heyborne is demonstrating "effeminate" qualities, and that by Mr. T pelting him with snickers bars it is an insult to gays in general. HELLO PEOPLE, have you ever seen a speedwalker walk? That is how a speedwalker walks, I am sure that if you ask a speedwalker he may be offended at having his sport be described as effeminate. It is a legitimate sport, it is in the olympics and everything. It is not Kirby trying to act gay, it is him mimicking the walk of a speedwalker. So if there are any groups that should be offended by this commercial it should be the speed walkers rights associations. My theory, and it is just a theory mind you, is that the gay community, at large, has accomplished so many of their goals in making the "gay culture" something most people are accustomed to that they are running out of things to get media attention for. I just don't see any other reason why they would get upset about something that has nothing to do with them. Who said you have to be gay to be a speedwalker, I think they should apologize to Kirby Heyborne for insulting his manhood. Sorry I'm done ranting now.
